Sam Williams is a multi platinum music producer, award winning songwriter, film composer, mixer and multi instrumentalist based in Oxford, UKwhere he works from his own Temple Sound Studios.
He has worked with many different artists including Supergrass, Plan B, The Noisettes, Gaz Coombes and The Go! Team in a career spanning three decades and encompassing a wide range of musical genres .He first came to prominence as the original Supergrass producer and collaborator when he produced their number one, million selling debut album ‘I Should Co Co’ which was nominated for the Mercury music prize, won the Ivor Novello song award and became the fastest selling debut on Parlophone since The Beatles.
He was founder member, principle songwriter and front man of The Mystics [Fontana/Rotator] and went on to form The Animalhouse [BMG/Boilerhouse] with Mark Gardener and Loz Colbert of Ride achieving international success including a number one album in Japan.
As well as writing for and with many artists he is also a composer of music for film and television and recently wrote the award winning music score for Film 4 espionage short thriller ‘Captcha’ along with music for ITV’s Poaching Wars documentaries featuring actor Tom Hardy.
